This paper will be comprised of the following problem(s) and or topic(s) for this abstract. Coverage on the women’s national soccer team for Japan and the United States during the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup final and the type of media coverage each team received during these events and prior to final. Also, how the media and its platforms such as Twitter and Instragram are used to promote the finals, teams, players, games, and viewership. It will be a comparative analysis dealing with Japan and the United States about the type of media coverage the female teams have throughout this event.
