Peculiarities of flowering and fruiting of beech species and forms, introduced in Dendrological Park "Sofiivka" of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

During the period of 1987–1997 some peculiarities of flowering and fruiting of two species and two ornamental forms of beech were studied. Both of them were introduced in the dendropark “Sofiyivka” . It was established that under conditions of introduction the species and forms beech have such periodicity of fruiting, as in the case of natural area, i.e. every 2–6 years.
