Description

Tar files for topography change maps for the 2018 eruption of Kilauea Volcano. There is one tar file for the caldera collapse topography difference, Kilauea_2018_eruption_Lundgren_caldera_diff_topo.tgz, and one tar file for the exposed lava flow topography change for the Lower East Rift Zone (LERZ), Kilauea_2018_eruption_Lundgren_LERZ_flows_topo.tgz. Contained with each tar file are topography change maps for each map published in the journal article as well as Longitude and Latitude files with the locations of each topography change data point. The Lon, Lat, and topography difference files are in 4-byte (float 32) binary. There is a resource file (.rsc) file in each tar file gives meta data indicating the number of columns (WIDTH) and rows (FILE_LENGTH) as well as the starting location of the upper left corner pixel and the step size for each coordinate (longitude and latitude in degrees). Topography change data are in meters.
