FIGURE 2 in Zorotypus pecten, a new species of Zoraptera (Insecta) from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber

Description

FIGURE 2. Map showing worldwide distribution of extant and fossil species of Zoraptera. Blue, red and yellow circles show extant species, fossil species from Cretaceous, and fossil species from Miocene, respectively. Outlined markers show undescribed species. Note that the age of Ethiopian amber was initially estimated to be Cretaceous (Schmidt et al. 2010), but later suggested to be Miocene (Coty et al. 2016; Seyfullah et al. 2018).
