Mamsa, Sira, Snayu, Asthiand Sandhi. Marma are the vital areas avoided during surgical procedures due to its fatality. Acharyasusruta described 107 marmaand According to regional classification he described 44 shakhagata marma-22 urdhvashakhagata and 22 adhoshakhagata.Here our attempt is to clarify the concept of adhoshakhagatamarma.
