Thrombin induces myometrial contraction Endocrinology Video 1

This video is supplementary file of our manuscript of  "Thrombin Activates Myosin Light Chain and Induces Cyclooxygenase-2 in Human Myometrial Cells: Progesterone Ameliorates It" by Nishimura and Mogami. 

Human primary myometrial cells were seeded on a plastic dish. Myometrial cells were treated with 4 U/ml of thrombin (left panel) or PBS (right panel). Images were acquired every minute for a period of 120 min using live-cell imaging system (Olympus IX71N microscope with DP71 camera). Images were then assembled into one frame and produced one 12-second movie (x600 accelerated) using Mac Preview and iMovie (Apple).
