IAU100 Above & Beyond Exhibition Posters

A new set of 12 posters have been created as a scaled-down version of the IAU100 Above and Beyond Exhibition. This version of the exhibition is well suited for display at meetings, universities, schools and other venues.

Designed with Science Now, the IAU100 Above and Beyond exhibition showcases some of the most significant and surprising astronomical breakthroughs that have shaped science, technology and culture over the last century. The exhibition has an interdisciplinary and international scope, outlining that scientific discovery is not a one-off endeavour, but a continuous process that takes decades to fully grasp and comprehend. It is underpinned by three core questions that seem equally inquisitive today, as they were a century ago: What is the size and structure of the Universe? Is there life outside of the Earth? What powers the stars, how do they begin to shine and what happens when they die?

This special exhibition has now been scaled-down to a special set of 12 A0 posters that feature the exhibition’s highlights. Like the full exhibition, it was designed to bring beautiful and insightful astronomical storytelling to the general public in the spirit of open science. This version is well suited for display at meetings, universities, schools, societies and other venues.
