The animation above illustrates the avreage length of stay and spending on healthcare by ward in the District of Columbia accross 11 years. The spending is higher for wards 7 and 8 as compared to the rest of the wards with a lsight increase in their average length os tay. Every circle represents a unique patient ecounter and the circle size correlates with the cost of care for the patient.
