Cigarette Smoking

It is often stated that smoking while pregnant can be harmful to the infant. Using the CDC data, we can look at a comparison to see whether there is any coorrelation between the number of cigarettes smoked and the APGAR score that was assigned to the infant at birth. The choice of performing this analysis against the APGAR score is due to APGAR measuring the healthy development of a baby. Remember, APGAR measures Appearance, Pulse, Grimace, Activity, and Respiration.
