The Definition of Authorship in the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity

This presentation aimed to address difficulties of providing a general and non-confusing definition of authorship for international authors. Using the European code of conduct for research integrity as an example, it will provided suggestions on how the definition of authorship can be revised and strengthen to deal with some of the more common issues faced by contributors to scientific projects.
