Description

Scientific data can ensure reproducibility in science. For this one needs underpinning data that are both FACT and FAIR where:-
FACT=Fairness, ACcuracy and Transparency
FAIR=Findable, Accessible, Interoperable  and Reusable
How to get the message across to the community of scientists as producers of results on the one hand and other scientists and the Public as consumers on the other hand? Twitter provides an ideal medium for this. Firstly who one follows and secondly who follows you on twitter can ensure a broad and diverse audience, by which I mean across many science disciplines and many walks of life. Crystallography strives for both FACT and FAIR with its data and its narratives. I will describe my experiences with twitter these last several years towards getting the message across for crystallographic science.
