Description
This paper discusses a design case built around the challenge to adapt the trend of increasingly digital payments to the topic of allowances. The paper introduces the concept and interaction design of Family Valuet: a tool that assists parents and children (age 6-12) in managing allowance. It consists of two mobile applications: one for parents and one for children. For children,Family Valuet provides a fun way to understand the concept of money and allows them to make better decisions on spending andsaving. For parents, it offers a way to better financially guide theirchildren.
