Description

OpenAIRE’s mission is to “shift scholarly communication towards openness and transparency and facilitate innovative ways to communicate and monitor research”. This mission is pursued through several activities: aligning policies, providing open science services, linking research, monitoring open science, training, building bridges and facilitating innovation. Carrying out these activities effectively requires engaging with a wide range of organizations across the research ecosystem. The OpenAIRE Liaison Strategy identifies the major communities which OpenAIRE will prioritize in terms of engagement, outlines the objectives and nature of the collaboration, and defines how the impact of this engagement/collaboration will be measured.
