A Survey of State Hazard Mitigation Officers About Integrating Climate Change into Hazard Mitigation Planning
Description
56 U.S. state hazard mitigation officers (SHMOs) were invited by email to participate in a brief, 25 question online survey administered through SurveyMonkey (SurveyMonkey Inc., San Mateo, CA, USA: www.surveymonkey.com) in March & April 2018. Thirty-five (62.5%) SHMOs responded to the survey. The survey sought to assess climate change integration into state hazard mitigation plans, as well as barriers and facilitators to such integration.
