Police-reported crime in 2025 for 457 Canadian police services (cities, towns, regional and RCMP/OPP detachments): Crime Severity Index (overall, violent, non-violent), crime rate per 100,000 people, and the change from 2024.

Statistics Canada, police-reported Crime Severity Index and crime rate by police service, tables 35-10-0061, 35-10-0063, 35-10-0064 and 35-10-0186 to 35-10-0190 (2025 reference year, released July 2026). Compiled into one table by Crime Canada.

## Notes
- The Crime Severity Index weights each offence by its average court sentence, so serious crimes count more than minor ones.
- Small services can swing a lot from year to year; compare places with similar populations (the explorer has a population filter).
- Some places appear twice (for example Surrey Police Service and Surrey RCMP during the 2025 transition). Keep both rows; they cover different parts of the year.
