Description

The article explores the pedagogical potential of active (movement) games for shaping the professional culture of future physical education teachers. Drawing on a systematic analysis of research literature and regulatory documents, the study describes professional culture as a six-component construct, analyses how the structural features of active games – rules, roles, competition, cooperation and reflection – correspond to these components, and proposes a set of pedagogical conditions and a staged procedure for using active games in pre-service teacher education.
