Description

Obawa przed negatywną oceną i poczucie samotności wpływają na codzienne funkcjonowanie studentów, choć dotychczasowa literatura badała ten związek głównie za pomocą kwestionariuszy. Niniejsza praca łączy dwie perspektywy: ilościową (N = 164; FNE-30, R-UCLA) i jakościową (n = 30; wywiad ustrukturyzowany). Korelacja między FNE a samotnością okazała się istotna (r = ,285, p < ,001), a kobiety uzyskały wyższe wyniki FNE niż mężczyźni (d = 0,67). Refleksyjna analiza tematyczna według procedury Braun i Clarke (2006) ujawniła cztery tematy: ekspozycję społeczną jako główne źródło dyskomfortu, trójpoziomową reakcję na zagrożenie ewaluacyjne (somatyczną, unikową, poznawczą), rozróżnienie samotności sytuacyjnej i egzystencjalnej oraz dominację strategii dystrakcyjnych przy jednoczesnym cenieniu rozmowy z bliskimi.

Fear of negative evaluation (FNE) and loneliness affect students' daily functioning, yet existing literature has relied predominantly on self-report questionnaires. This study combined quantitative (N = 164; FNE-30, R-UCLA) and qualitative (n = 30; structured interview) data. FNE correlated positively with loneliness (r = .285, p < .001), and women reported higher FNE than men (d = 0.67). Reflexive thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006) revealed four themes: social exposure as the primary source of distress, a three-level response pattern to evaluative threat, the distinction between situational and existential loneliness, and the predominance of distraction-based coping despite students valuing relational support.
