补遗:无线电何时引进中国

Description

The claim that systematic application of radio by Chinese people originated with the Guangdong Fleet in 1899 is a historical fallacy. By consulting the Decennial Reports of the Maritime Customs, the author verifies that this assertion lacks any factual basis. Combining this with the view put forward by Mr. Lv Shiqin in 1983, the author argues that the Beiyang Fleet in 1905 represents the first time the Chinese put radio to practical use.

中国人成体系应用无线电“起源于 1899 年广东水师”的说法,是一个史料的谬误。笔者通过查阅《粤海关十年报告》考证了这一说法缺乏立足之处,并结合吕世勤先生 1983 年提出的观点,认为 1905 年北洋水师是国人应用无线电之始。
