PREDICTIVE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT: EXPLORING SOLUTIONS TO TRAFFIC CONGESTION IN ASTANA, KAZAKHSTAN

Description

The article explores predictive traffic management solutions for reducing traffic congestion in Astana, Kazakhstan. It examines intelligent transportation technologies, adaptive traffic-light control, machine learning, and reinforcement learning. The authors propose a Predictive Traffic Management System that integrates traffic forecasting, weather conditions, and coordinated control of interconnected intersections. The proposed system will be evaluated through computer simulations using travel time, queue length, vehicle stops, and public transport delays as performance indicators.
