Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Waste Management: Opportunities and Challenges

Abstract

                Waste management comprises of collection, treatment, recycling and disposal of wase materials safely in view of protecting the quality of human health and environment. Improved standard of living increased purchasing capacity and rising consumptive use of materials with rapid growth of human population across the world leads to generation of huge waste materials. Waste management today offers an entrepreneurial opportunity. In light of this, the present study attempts to understand the opportunities and challenges in this field. It also provides some measures to cope with the challenges.
