Authority Beyond Contact - Full English Manuscript

Description

What permissions can remain usable when a delegated operation cannot obtain a timely response from its principal? This brief summarizes a conceptual review method for remote autonomy. It separates what a controller has decided, what a receiver has learned and what an actuator can enforce. The aim is a describable operating contract, not a claim that a signature can make a remote restriction arrive instantly. Represent a grant by permitted actors, operations, conditions, validity and resource limits. The protected event must be identified, such as acceptance of an extraction instruction rather than completion of a physical process. Delegated capacity requires an exclusive allocation rule. A shared ceiling is not preserved merely by giving every branch the same signed budget. Recovery, transfer and expiry are part of the authority model because each can change what a receiver still treats as spendable.
