Thermodynamic Conservation of the Default Observer (Atman) State: Defense Against Computational Hijacking by Environmental Variables and the Information-Theoretic Efficiency of Compassion

Description
This study integrates evolutionary biology, information thermodynamics, and Vedanta philosophy to elucidate the emergence of consciousness through the internal energy distribution mechanisms of biological organisms.
We redefine the highest state of consciousness, the 'Observer (Atman)', as the 'default mode' of the biological cognitive system. The research investigates how the influx of external environmental variables (Surprise) causes the energy originally allocated for 'observation' to be internally hijacked into 'processing' and 'output' computations, ultimately dissipating as emotional friction. Furthermore, we scientifically prove the information-theoretic efficiency of 'Compassion (Agape)' as a rendering shield that halts this internal computational overload, thereby permanently maintaining the default observer state.
