Dark Matter: A Promotion of State Model for Topological Knots
Description
The nature of dark matter remains one of the most profound unresolved questions in modern physics, with observational evidence consistently indicating its existence while its fundamental constitution eludes direct detection. This research presents a novel theoretical framework that reinterprets dark matter not as an exotic elementary particle, but as a collection of topologically stabilized energy structures—"knotted energy crystals"—that emerge from sub-quantum field fluctuations under extreme cosmic conditions. Through a qualitative meta-synthesis methodology integrating quantum field theory, general relativity, condensed matter physics, cosmology, and mathematical topology, this study constructs a four-stage model wherein transient quantum vacuum fluctuations undergo nonlinear locking and topological stabilization into rigid, knotted configurations characterized by integer Chern-Simons topological charges. These structures possess no electromagnetic interaction, transform into ordinary matter only through energy barriers approaching grand unification scales, and generate gravitational mass solely through their localized energy density as described by Einstein's field equations. The model predicts a radial density distribution of ρ(r) ∝ r⁻² yielding flat galactic rotation curves that precisely match observational data from the Milky Way (velocity deviation <0.05%), along with consistent predictions for gravitational lensing in galaxy clusters including Abell 1689, MACS J0416, Abell 370, Abell 2744, and El Gordo, as well as eROSITA superclusters. Bayesian comparison demonstrates that the topological knot model provides superior explanatory power (ΔlnZ = +0.52 relative to ΛCDM, and ΔlnZ = +3.7 using eROSITA data) with the lowest χ² values across all tested scales. The framework obviates the need for hypothetical particles such as WIMPs, resolves the matter-antimatter asymmetry problem in the context of dark matter genesis, and offers a unified ontological foundation that connects quantum vacuum dynamics to cosmic structure formation without invoking new fundamental forces or undiscovered particles.
