Description
Poster presenting the development of a label-free, non-contact glucose monitoring system for organ-on-a-chip applications using near-infrared (NIR) and mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. The work covers optical system design and simulation, hardware prototyping, control and signal-processing software, and integration of optical sampling compartments into an organ-on-chip device. The system is intended to be demonstrated for glucose monitoring in a Liver-Pancreas-Assay. The work is carried out within the PhotonMed project.
