Description
GCSB-ST-CSF-001 Converged Security Framework Main Standard, version 2.0. Issued and effective 13 October 2026. Author: Prof. Dr. Vladimir Bunic. Issuer: Global Converged Security Board (GCSB), United Kingdom. Approved by the Governing Council for issue.
This standard establishes the main requirements for integrating cybersecurity, physical security and operational technology security within a unified risk management approach. It addresses hybrid, systemic and cascading risks across organisational dependencies.
It defines minimum requirements for integrating security governance, risk assessment, technology, identity, response, continuity, training, third-party management and privacy. It supports alignment with ISO 31000:2018, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 22301:2019 without promising a guaranteed business outcome or treating those publications as interchangeable.
The adopting organisation is responsible for implementation. GCSB does not act as a training, consulting or audit provider. Adoption does not itself confer statutory authority, ISO certification, accreditation, a professional credential or a Trustmark Award.
