Computational data and code for velocity-induced transverse-force reversal in a sealed anisotropic poroelastic layer
Description
This dataset contains CPU calculations for a smooth unilateral contact over a sealed, finite-depth Biot layer with anisotropic permeability and a bonded elastic cover. The material coefficients and indentation are fixed while the translation speed changes. The baseline transverse pressure-slope force is negative at dimensionless speed 1 and positive at speed 80. The baseline and ten local one-factor perturbations each give negative low-speed and positive high-speed forces.
The archive supplies the source modules, complete inputs, 38 saved contact-pressure fields and per-case numerical outputs, force tables, constitutive-limit checks, and scripts for readback and figure reproduction. The 38 contact cases comprise 28 frozen primary checks, two selected fine sensitivity cases, six additional interior baseline speeds, and two fine baseline endpoints. The extra cases are distinguished from the original frozen sensitivity plan.
These are numerical results for a synthetic parameter set, not experimental measurements or a validated material device. The computation uses an open-x thin-layer kernel with a periodic finite-depth/cover correction and periodic y direction. The result does not establish a universal reversal, an exact crossing speed, or priority for transverse forces.
