Mechanical Consistency in Visual Dynamics: Datasets and Spatial Evaluation

Companion artifacts for Beyond Geometric Closure: Measuring and Diagnosing Mechanical Consistency in Visual Dynamics.

Shared planar data at 64 and 256 pixels; Stewart and Delta spatial mechanism data; V-JEPA + AC spatial checkpoints and saved forecasts; LingBot-VA forecasts at 0 and 50 updates and reference videos; calibrated planar and spatial measurement components. Spatial evaluation uses 50 test assemblies per family, three operating conditions, and seeds 42, 43, and 44.

Each TAR package can be downloaded and imported independently. The included README describes package selection and dependencies.

Access update (2026-10-20): public file downloads have been restored. The companion code repository is public. Files are openly downloadable without access approval. Companion preprint: arXiv:2610.24619. Source code and import instructions: GitHub repository.

License scope: this is a mixed-license collection. The listed licenses apply to their corresponding components, not as alternative licenses for every file.

• cc-by-4.0: Original datasets, observations, physical trajectories, predictions and numerical evidence.
• mit: Original measurement heads and V-JEPA model components; retain upstream notices.

Original data are credited to Qibin Gu and Yunfeng Yan. Third-party model terms and copyright notices remain applicable. See component-level notices and full license texts. The public-access change preserves the deposited experimental files and their checksums.
