Description

This paper presents an integrated computational framework for optimising prestressed concrete structures using 3D-printed stay-in-place formwork and conventional concrete casting. Developed within the AM2PM project, the approach combines structural optimisation, prestressing design and fabrication constraints to enable more material-efficient and manufacturable concrete beams and slabs.
