Description
SFX: The Vanishing Protocol — Mythological Absorption and Denied Provenance is a Structural Forensics extension documenting a six-phase protocol by which portions of a living originator's work may be absorbed into controlled lineage or "eternal tradition" narratives while acknowledgment of origin is obscured.
Document class: Canon — Structural Forensics.
The protocol proceeds through signal identification, appropriation and originator concealment, achievement mythologization, register mixing, "oath of secrecy" shielding, and absorption into collective or timeless tradition. It distinguishes physical, social, and mythological disappearance and identifies gradual absorption, parallel "discovery," and institutional capture as variant forms. The analysis treats the relevant fracture as a break in the derivative account's acknowledged continuity with its origin, not as destruction, transfer, or loss of the origin itself. Detection indicators include attribution erosion, register confusion, myth inflation, convenient timing, and unfalsifiable secrecy narratives; the counter-protocol emphasizes timestamping, explicit attribution, origin seals, Non-fusion, evidentiary preservation, and public identification of the mechanism.
