Raman as a Thermochronology Tool for Zircon

Overview of the fundamentals and applications of zircon thermochronology using laser Raman spectroscopy, based on publications and analysis by Birk Härtel (University of Calgary) and Angus Nixon (Adelaide University), and collegues. This methodology is a rapidly evolving field, so this presentation provides a snapshot of key aspects as of August 2026.
