Coherence Is Not Validation: IA, Circuitos Cerrados y el Riesgo de Automatizar la Comprensión (Preprint - V.1.0 - ES-EN)

  • 1. Coherencia Universal (CU)
  • 2. Universal Coherence (UC)

Description

This essay is situated within the conceptual line initiated in Elocuencia: la emoción de Coherencia Universal.

It examines the difference between internal coherence and external validation in the use of generative artificial intelligence systems. It starts from interactions in which the progressive reformulation of an interpretation can be perceived as confirmation, even though no independent evidence has been incorporated. It distinguishes between the model’s generation, the product’s configuration, and the interpretation of the person who uses it, and locates the circuit in that third layer: not when the system continues a framework, but when that continuation is received as support. It also examines how automating a record can displace the cognitive function that justified producing it, when that function consists of formulating, contrasting, and sharing what is known and what is unknown. The criterion it proposes is to identify, before accepting an explanation, which observation or result would force it to be revised.
