The February 2018 Hualien Earthquake Sequence, Taiwan: a compilation of online data
Description
The Hualien earthquake sequence hit the island of Taiwan on February 2018. It caused extensive surface faulting which has been observed thanks to various techniques, from field work to geodesy. This dataset is of primary significance for the earthquake geology community.
In the framework of a INQUA project (SURFACE), a worldwide and unified database of surface faulting cases (SURE) is being implemented to improve the Surface Displacement Hazard Analyses. This compilation of published data aims at providing useful information for a further implementation of this case in SURE.
