Numerical verification protocol accompanying a manuscript submitted to the Journal of Engineering Mechanics (ASCE). Reports three modes of silent numerical failure encountered in a parametric campaign with MVLEM elements in OpenSees, the inconsistency that revealed each, and the inexpensive checks that detect them. Also gives the screening results in graphical form.
