B2A Agentic Commerce Implementation Record

A dated technical record of a working business-to-agent (B2A) commerce implementation, its public production tests and subsequent technical development.

Version 1.4 documents the expanded implementation and synchronized public documentation as of 29 September 2026. It adds merchant protocol adapters, DNS-based agent domain verification and signed route qualification to the existing commerce system.

Supported commerce channels

• The direct bd-commerce/1 channel.
• The Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP 2026-04-17).
• The Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP 2026-08-25 and 2026-04-08).

These entry points use the same catalogue and order records. The direct channel remains independently available. Orders and payments follow the current catalogue and an accepted offer with a concrete payable amount. Services requiring an individual quotation must have their scope and final price agreed before payment.

Know Your Agent (KYA) uses a DNS TXT challenge to establish control of an agent’s declared contact domain. Current domain verification is required for autonomous shared-payment-token payments by self-registered agents and for authenticated UCP access. KYA establishes domain control; buyer identity and authority to spend remain separate requirements.

Signed route qualification

The DoThat Quest implementation adds signed route evidence and a separate route-qualification result. The verifier checks the recorded protocol and KYA evidence against the same challenge, order and payment. Version 1.4 includes the documented verifier changes and synthetic regression checks, distinguished from evidence of a completed production purchase.

Public documentation and deposit contents

The English and Bulgarian service pages, commerce catalogue, FAQ, explanatory article, structured data and machine-readable documents have been synchronized to describe the implemented functions, integration requirements and verification boundaries. The deposit contains an updated implementation record and a separate dated snapshot of public documentation, merchant protocol profiles, checksums and sanitized technical verification material.

Previously verified production test

The independently initiated production test documented in version 1.3 remains unchanged. On 21 September 2026, a third-party participant’s AI agent independently discovered 101Ts3t without being given a merchant, domain, endpoint or checkout link, completed a real EUR 0.99 purchase and obtained a public PASS under the previously published rules. Its signed evidence and externally timestamped proof chain remain available in version 1.3 under DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22878834.

Scope of this version and next steps

Version 1.4 documents implementation changes and their technical checks. It does not claim a new successful real purchase through ACP or UCP, or a new route-qualified PASS. Support for open protocol adapters is separate from admission to a platform’s native checkout programme.

Subsequent real tests of the added functions and their actual signed evidence are planned for version 1.5. Earlier versions remain permanently retrievable under their own identifiers.
