Description

Preprint version of the conference paper “Cost Allocation in an Energy Community: A Comparative Assessment of Operational Approaches”, presented at IEEE ECCE Europe 2026 in Valencia, Spain. This version corresponds to the manuscript prior to the peer-review process.

The study assesses different operational approaches for energy sharing in an energy community, using individual self-consumption (ISC) as a baseline and comparing it with aggregated community (AGC) and collective self-consumption (CSC) approaches. The analysis is based on annual electricity consumption and photovoltaic generation data from 20 customers in Burguillos, Seville, Spain.

The final peer-reviewed version will be published in IEEE Xplore. The corresponding IEEE DOI will be added once available.
