Astrometric, Evolutionary and Photometric Analysis and Investigation of the Open Cluster M35 using Gaia Data

Description

In this article an astrometric, evolutionary and photometric analysis and study of the M35 open cluster was carried out using data from the GAIA mission. A pmra/pmdec diagram has been created within a 38” radius for M35 membership detection, where M35 and NGC 2158 were separated by parallax filtering. Stellar membership allowed for the Trumpler Scheme(III3r) and create a color-magnitude diagram, where the The main sequence is set at BP-RP=(0.25 ; 2.5) MagAbs=(0 ; 10), —approximately based in temperature— in spectral types from M to B with stellar dispersion at MagAbs≳8, observational scatter. The isochrone was selected by means of adjustment, where an isochrone of metallicity [Fe/H] = -0.2 and age t = 0.158 Gyr was favored, showing general consistency throughout the main sequence. The main sequence turn-off(MSTO) is approximately [BP-RP≈1.6; MagAbs ≈ -1.5], suggests that the stars in this region have not yet evolved significantly off the main sequence, consistent with the absence of stars in the giants branch stars. The stars in the cluster correspond to the stellar population I favored by the adjustment of the metallicity of the isochrones. Overall, this article provides a new observation an interpretation of open clusters like M35, and contributes to the study of these.
