Informational Superiority of Schmittian Notation as a Macroeconomic State Description: Comparing the Departmental Status and Logical Order of Profit through SPC
Authors/Creators
Description
This working paper examines the informational content of Schmittian three-department bookkeeping through Sequential Provenance Comparison (SPC).
Using the numerical example 100–80–20 discussed by Andrea Carrera, the paper compares two analytically distinguished states: one in which profit of 20 has been formed in Department II, and another in which it has been transferred to Department III. Although the two states have equal aggregate values for deposits, claims on firms, profit, goods, and the consolidated external net balance of the banking system, they differ in the departmental status of profit and in whether the required transfer has been completed.
The paper shows that aggregate notation without status information cannot determine completion of the transfer, whereas Schmittian notation preserves the logical origin and departmental qualification required for that determination. The transfer to Department III records profit as excluded from ordinary loanable funds; its effective exclusion additionally depends on enforceable departmental restrictions.
SPC is not presented as a substitute for Schmitt’s logical analysis or as a model capable of deriving Schmittian identities independently. Its more limited role is to audit whether a state description preserves the relations of formation, logical simultaneity, departmental status, conditions of use, and dependency required by the theory.
The analysis is deliberately limited to the formation and protective transfer of profit. It does not claim to establish the complete mechanisms of empty emission, inflation, unemployment, or capital malformation.

Carrera(2019)の数値例100–80–20を、SPC(Sequential Provenance Comparison、逐次来歴比較)によって再構成する。
