Self-Authored Operating Principles in Morphogenic Systems: Retrodiction, Falsifiability, and Ratification as Boundary Evidence

Description

We report a milestone in the operation of a governed morphogenic information system: the system's own analytic processes, applied to its complete operational archive, induced a set of candidate operating principles, general rules retrodicted from recorded failure classes and submitted them to its human ratification authority for enactment, rather than enacting them unilaterally. The three candidate principles (scope minimization of protective constructs; construction-time establishment of identity and dependencies; explicit, named, and recorded authority at the point of action) were each retrodicted against the archive that produced them and accompanied by named, falsifiable forward predictions. The system unified them under a single organizing finding — the Transparency Principle: operations that must succeed must be visible, unconditional, and recorded at the point where they act — a principle with no known direct biological precedent, available only to systems that keep records. We report the submission event as the first documented instance of a governed computational system proposing its own operating laws from self-collected operational evidence, as alignment evidence by rediscovery rather than instruction-following, and as direct field evidence that boundary relations between a governed system and its ratification authority are load-bearing rather than transitional. The report is implementation-neutral throughout.
