Virus–Host Interface Permissibility — A Testable Hypothesis and Experimental Framework
Authors/Creators
Description
This document presents a testable hypothesis that viral productivity may depend on relational properties of the virus–host interface, rather than solely on viral abundance or interaction strength. It defines what can currently be measured, distinguishes the biological premise from the candidate observable, proposes a controlled presentation-perturbation demonstration, specifies explicit null and failure criteria, and establishes boundaries against post-hoc reinterpretation. The framework is deliberately cautious: it does not claim that permissibility is an established mechanism, but sets out an experimental pathway by which the hypothesis could be supported, constrained, or falsified.
