Bunreacht na hÉireann 2026: A Proposed Constitution for Ireland

A complete proposed constitution for Ireland: a preamble, fifteen Parts and
136 articles, written from scratch in plain language by a private citizen and
published under an open licence. It is not an official draft and has no legal
force.

This is the English text and the operative text. The constitution provides
that an Irish text in Cló Gaelach shall be prepared and shall become the
authoritative text from the day it is enrolled; that text has not yet been
written. Articles 4 and 131 set out the position.

Deposited in four formats: a typeset PDF, plain text, Markdown, and a
structured JSON record of every article for comparative analysis.

Corrections to the text are published, dated and with the original wording
quoted, at daoine.earth/bunreacht/errata.html
