Collatz as a Virtualized Six‑Bit Bitstream Processor(達磨落としコラッツ)

Description

English

This work presents a bitstream formulation of the Collatz problem.

Instead of treating the Collatz map primarily as an orbit of integers, the paper reformulates it as sequential signal processing over a finite binary input stream. A reference Collatz processor is defined from the standard Collatz map, and a second implementation, called the virtualized six-bit processor, is constructed using a fixed six-position Current window, finite REAL input ownership, Virtual continuation state, Null ownership, and finite latency settlement.

The proof structure is divided into three independent components:

  1. finite local closure of all 63 nonzero fully loaded six-bit Current states;

  2. observable equivalence between the reference processor and the virtualized processor, including an exact five-bit refill boundary identity; and

  3. finite monotone consumption of the initial REAL input.

These components are then composed at processor boundaries to obtain global closure. The formulation does not require every intermediate virtual register to be decoded as an integer; correctness is instead defined through preservation of observable input consumption, logical continuation, and continuation interface.

Machine-readable certificates and verification code for the finite-state and refill-boundary checks are included with the record.

This release contains the Japanese version of the manuscript.
An English version is planned to be added in a later update.
