Description
This report presents the results of a research study on the long-term impacts of decisions made by a group of scholars who came together to create and deliver a program of courses for master’s students on the topic of northern tourism. The scholars did this under the auspices of the University of the Arctic (UArctic) and its Thematic Network on Northern Tourism. The courses have been running for over 10 years, and this impact research was conducted in late 2025 and early 2026. This study is part of a broader initiative across UArctic and its Thematic Networks’ activities to better understand and articulate the longer-term Impacts of UArctic and apply ‘Impact Thinking’.
