Description

🛠️ Project Interface Abstract
This repository houses the production-frozen, hardware-validated dual-core embedded firmware architecture (v5.0.0) developed for the STMicroelectronics STM32H747XIH6 silicon platform. Engineered for industrial point-source wastewater remediation, this embedded control engine manages real-time power modulation and high-velocity protection grids for the physical Model VXI-5000 In-Line Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) Non-Thermal Plasma Reactor.
The system operates directly within an enclosed, wetted industrial wastewater inflow pipeline to destroy bioaccumulative per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). By driving high-voltage, high-frequency alternating current fields across a dielectric quartz sleeve, the system creates a cold plasma state. This localized energy field generates high-energy, room-temperature electron fields that instantly outmatch and cleanly shatter the extreme binding energy of Carbon-Fluorine (C-F) bonds, converting volatile toxins into inert, water-soluble mineral salts on-site before effluents dilute into public aquifers.

To meet safety-critical auditing standards, the system achieves a verified fault-to-cutoff timeline of 2.24 microseconds (µs) by isolating hazard handling from communication tasks at the silicon layer.

🌐 Key Microarchitectural and Isolation Invariants
  • Asymmetric Core Multiprocessing (AMP) Topology: Background tracking runs on the 480 MHz ARM Cortex-M7 master core, while the safety loop executes on the 240 MHz Cortex-M4 sentinel core.
  • Sub-30ns Asynchronous Interlock Pathway: Hardware analog comparators and event controllers drop SiC MOSFET gate voltages within 30 nanoseconds, with secondary PWM gating clamped within 250 nanoseconds.
  • Silicon-Level Memory Isolation & L1 Cache Firewalls: Cores communicate via hardware semaphores (HSEM) and non-cacheable configurations in SRAM4_D3.
  • Zero-Wait-State Flash-to-RAM Mirroring: Critical interrupt routines are copied from Flash to private SRAM1 upon reset.
  • Absolute Branchless Control Linearity: The Cortex-M4 safety thread eliminates conditional branches inside active runtime loops to prevent timing side-channel attacks.

📁 Repository Directory Parameter Matrix
The deployment package contains key files including CMakeLists.txt, Makefile, .zenodo.json, vortex_ion_manifest.json, and core source directories for the M7 application and M4 safety domains.

⚖️ Sovereign Double-Shield Licensing Contracts
The repository uses a Custom Commercial Source-Available Licensing Agreement:
  • The Public Open Track: Free for academic, non-profit, and municipal use.
  • The Civil Prior Art Shield: Establishes public prior art records.
  • The Enterprise Capacity Ceilings: Commercial usage is capped prior to September 18, 2030, or 5.0 Megawatts (MW) of operational power.
  • The Corporate Revenue Cap: Restricted to a $2,500,000 USD gross global revenue threshold before requiring a technology-transfer agreement with Zachary August Jacoby.

Developed in strict alignment with open-access embedded safety and advanced oxidation process engineering standard frameworks.
