The Now-Life Theory v2 traces consciousness to its root by treating consciousness and the Now as mutual conditions of existence. It proposes Root Consciousness as one integrated experience arising at the level of the universe as a whole, and calls the universe existing with Root Consciousness and the Cosmic Now Cosmic Life.
The theory distinguishes Root Consciousness from Individual Consciousness, which is formed through ongoing reference to Individual Memory. It interprets deep altered states of consciousness as a weakening of that self-reference: Individual Consciousness may approach Root Consciousness and, at greater Depth, possibly touch Root Memory. The deeper the experience, the harder it may be to retain what was encountered as Individual Memory.
The claims that Root Consciousness is the ground of individual consciousness and that Root Memory is the memory of Cosmic Life are presented as hypotheses. This record contains the complete English and Japanese editions of version 2.

今生命論 v2 は、意識と「今」を互いの成立条件として捉え、意識の根源を遡る形而上学的・認識論的理論である。宇宙全体に成立する統合された一つの経験を「根源意識」とし、根源意識と「宇宙の今」を伴って存在する宇宙全体を「宇宙生命」と呼ぶ。
個体生命では、固有記憶への継続的な参照によって固有意識が形成される。深い変性意識ではこの自己参照が弱まり、固有意識が根源意識へ近づき、さらに深い状態では根源記憶に触れる可能性がある。一方、深度が増すほど、そこで得たものを固有記憶として持ち帰ることは難しくなる。
根源意識が個々の意識の母体であること、根源記憶が宇宙生命の記憶であることは仮説として提示する。本レコードにはバージョン2の日本語版と英語版を収録する。
