Preregistration: fresh-founder confirmation of a rounding-induced NCA functional phenotype v2
Description
Prospective fresh-founder replication of the functional NCA rounding phenotype. The v2 protocol, fixed model panel, disjoint founder seed candidates, primary functional endpoint, exact-binomial thresholds, and all analysis decisions are frozen before v2 enrollment and treatment outcomes. Earlier v1 results are disclosed as motivation and are not pooled.
Notes
The study is restricted to three fixed NCA lineages and tests a deleterious reproductive-function phenotype. It is not a test of beneficial adaptation or ecological selection.
