MOSDE: Two-Stage Pre-Registration of a Pre-Specified Empirical Asset-Pricing Study — Stage B (Sealed until Manuscript Submission)

This record is the sealed two-stage pre-registration of MOSDE, a pre-specified, single-author empirical asset-pricing study. Version 1 (Stage A) was deposited after the study's synthetic calibration phase and before any real-data modeling. This version (Stage B) is deposited after the real-data pilot and its calibration phase and before any confirmatory computation; it freezes the confirmatory configuration and the evaluation protocol.

The complete design is contained in the embargoed files and is anchored in the project's version-controlled registration repository (github.com/armia1989/mosde-registration, private until verification): Stage A at commit dcf4235eaedd187b2fdd75d2c0aaf94b0e9979e7, Stage B at commit c419ec667c38b043ab4701ce77fc137208a104f7 of the same repository, of which the Stage-A commit is an ancestor. The Stage-B configuration hash 35e532986051a588dde6734ba7752273f13724125eb0dc3e4c89e604938177d4 (SHA-256 over the confirmatory preset, the code version and the data fingerprint) is the value the confirmatory run is gated on: no confirmatory computation can start unless a deposit marker carrying this hash and this record's version DOI exists and the hash recomputes from the code at launch. Because a git commit identifier is a cryptographic hash chained over the entire repository history, this deposit's timestamp fixes the complete decision record up to and including that commit without disclosing its contents. No confirmatory result existed at the time of deposit; the files and the repository will be opened for verification at manuscript submission.
