Description
The hardware provided here is an updated and refined version of the system originally presented in S. Kruse et al., “Design of an Automotive Visible Light Communications Link using an Off‑The‑Shelf LED Headlight,” ANALOG 2018; 16th GMM/ITG‑Symposium, Munich/Neubiberg, Germany, 2018, pp. 1–5 (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8576855). Any publications, products, or other derivative outcomes arising from the use of this hardware must explicitly reference this original work.
To view the schematic and PCB layout, the open‑source software KiCad in version 10.0 or later is required. The printed circuit board is manufactured using FR4 substrate with a thickness of 1.6 mm.
The publisher of this open hardware project, as well as the associated host institution, assume no liability for any material damage, personal injury, or other losses arising from the use, misuse, or modification of the hardware. All designs, documentation, and related materials are provided “as is”, without any express or implied warranties regarding functionality, safety, or fitness for a particular purpose.
