Description

This study presents a techno-economic model for assessing the energy production and costs of floating offshore wind farms. The model accounts for floating structures, mooring systems, anchors, installation, and operational expenses. Using wind climate and bathymetry data from the North Sea, it evaluates annual energy production and the levelized cost of energy (LCoE), providing insights into the economic performance of different floating wind farm configurations.
