X LAB Human Evolution Research Agenda: From Ten Millennium Questions to Seventy-One Key Questions
Description
Bilingual release: Full English and Chinese editions are provided as PDF and DOCX, with a shared version, identifiers and DOI. The English PDF is the main reading file. The machine-readable JSON includes English question wording and theme summaries alongside the original Chinese fields.
Scope: Human evolution is used broadly to include cognitive and capability development, technology, social organization and civilizational change, as well as biological evolution. These processes are distinguished; evolution does not by itself imply moral progress.
This research agenda presents a three-level framework for long-term inquiry into human evolution: ten millennium questions, twenty-four contemporary themes, and seventy-one scientific, engineering, normative, and mixed research questions. It defines an open, versioned system for accumulating evidence, testing claims, enabling independent review, and producing transparent, citable outputs.
The document is a research agenda and methodological framework, not a set of empirical conclusions to the seventy-one questions.
Institutional relationship: X LAB Human Evolution Laboratory is a research platform supported by Younion Global Limited.
