Universal Mountain Framework and Protecting the End from the Beginning Framework: Structural Closure, Origin Protection, and Authorship Continuity in Human-AI Cognitive Development

Authors/Creators

Description

This conceptual contribution introduces two related protection frameworks within Marina A. Popova’s Third Organism and Human-AI Cognitive Development work: the Universal Mountain Framework (UMF) and the Protecting the End from the Beginning Framework (PEBF).

The Universal Mountain Framework is introduced as a structural-closure framework. It protects a formed conceptual architecture from distortion, unauthorized insertion, superficial repackaging, category absorption, and loose reinterpretation. The Protecting the End from the Beginning Framework is introduced as an origin-protection framework. It protects final formation by securing the Beginning, so the End cannot later be falsely attached to an incorrect, external, or later source.

Together, UMF and PEBF address a future-facing problem in advanced Human–AI environments: human-originated conceptual frameworks may increasingly be summarized, recombined, renamed, optimized, translated, adapted, operationalized, or reintroduced by highly capable AI systems and the humans directing them. In such conditions, the central issue is not only who created what, but when the formation appeared, how it formed, under what origin conditions it should be continued, and what boundaries govern legitimate continuation.

This contribution argues that advanced future intelligence requires more than capability, speed, performance, care language, safety patches, or technical redesign. It requires structural closure, origin protection, authorship continuity, and human-verifiable boundary conditions.

The paper also references Digital Canonical Passport as an authorship-continuity function supporting source clarity when human-originated frameworks are interpreted, summarized, translated, or recombined by advanced AI systems.

This contribution does not claim ownership over general words such as mountain, beginning, end, care, structure, origin, intelligence, wrapper, cognition, or framework. It defines specific structural-protection functions within Marina A. Popova’s authored Third Organism lineage.
